RESULTS of the SA state prize draw on September 1st:

1st - Rosehall Quilters of Wyyalla

2nd - Galley Quilters of Pt Noarlunga

3rd - Pt Augusta Quilters Guild Inc

Congratulations to all those who held events, the amount raised in South Australia alone for 2011 is $32,473.70 - Fabulous!

Events in SA contributed almost 46% to the national total of $71,031.70 Wow! - Well done everyone.

About ABQB:

The 11th annunal national quilting event, Australia's Biggest Quilting Bee was held on 25th May 2011 or any day in May or June that suited! This event was initiated in 2001 by The Australian Council of Quilters to raise much needed funds for your local Cancer Council. It is held as part of the  Australia's Biggest Morning Tea initiative.

In previous years quilters and their friends had raised $438,753 nationally
