QGSA is very pleased to announce that from March 1st 2010 our frame and goods storage will be at the Adelaide Showground. It is with great excitement that we thank our newest sponsor the Royal Adelaide Show. Having the frames available 'onsite' during our own Festival of Quilts will save a great deal in travel time and organisation. We are also privileged to facilitate on-site judging for the exhibition and I'm sure our volunteers will be most impressed with the wonderful venue.
For Frame Hire, the Showground is a well known location and easily accessible. Make sure you contact June Bull early to make a booking. Read all the paperwork thoroughly and ensure that your pick up person arrives at the Showground with the signed authority to release form.

Congratulations to QGSA Affiliated Group : Quilters at the Cove who have received a Government of SA grant via the 'Grants for Seniors' Program 2009/10. The main aim of the group is to make charity quilts and more than 300 have been made since 1997. The group meets to share ideas and information and to provide support & friendship to each other whilst working on the quilts. WELL DONE
When women leave the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia they are given a dress and a bangle. If you would like to support these women further please make a basic rectangle bag.
