QUILT ENCOUNTER 2008
The Quilters' Guild of S.A. Inc's QUILT ENCOUNTER 2008 will be held in July at Immanuel College, 32 Morphett Rd, Novar Gardens S.A. The college is conveniently located only four km from the Adelaide Airport and eight km from the Adelaide CBD. Quilt Encounter is a six day "live-in" event. You may choose to "hop in" for two, three or six days. The workshops offered are for the beginner through to the advanced quilter, in contemporary and traditional styles, hand and machine work. There is a choice of eight two day workshops on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th, and on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th; one day workshops are on Monday 14th and on Tuesday 15th of July. The evening programme includes Meet the tutors, Show and tell, and special guest speakers.
