Belle Point Exchange

Belle Point is a Guild in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Begun in 1984 (as was the SA Guild) they have a membership of about 150. They are a city guild whereas we are a state guild. Their member Jennifer Eide reached out to our Guild to begin a round robin quilt exchange in 2018.

This year there is no theme for the exchange, rather make a centre block from your favourite method of patchwork. Use applique, EPP, foundation piecing, regular piecing, cathedral window (if you are crazy), stained glass…whatever takes your fancy. Our aim is to make new friends and share ideas across the globe. Who knows, you may start a pen pal (email) relationship with a quilter in Belle Point. We are joining together in teams of four, with each team member adding a border to the centre block supplied by our Belle Point friends.

Our Belle Point Friends have completed the quilt blocks created by our Quilters' Guild of South Australia members.  You can download the pdf document here to see the final results.
